Getting ready to leave Spokane

Our last day in Spokane was a bittersweet one - we didn't want to leave, but going to your own house is always nice. So we had to snap a few shots of baby with Grandma and Grandpa Schaber, Aunt Heidi, and cousin Hailey.

One huge thing we looked forward to on our trip to Spokane was grandpa Ray being able to meet and spend some time with baby John - it meant a lot to us for this to happen. We think both of them have enjoyed getting to know the other.

4th of July, 2009 - Spokane

Baby John was quite the popular guy at grandma and grandpa Schaber's house on the 4th. Here he is with Maria and Ray Venable (great-grandparents), Linda Schaber (grandma), Steve (that's me, the dad), and his most favorite person in the whole world, mama. I think he loved all the attention.

We took a little trip to the Spokane River with Mark, Heidi and Hailey, and I had to take a few pictures of Amy with Baby John in the little papoose thing - pretty sweet.
